• Logo Quality: We enhance all logos, but text and important details must be clearly visible in your source images. Extremely low-resolution graphics may not be usable if details are lost.

• Mounted Items: Coins, badges, pins, or any other mounted items visible in photos are not included in the price and must be provided for mounting.

• Frame Note: All current plaques feature brushed black aluminum frames (7/16" wide x 1 3/8" deep). Some older/legacy listing photos may show our previous black wood frames from years ago. Both styles are similar (flat, black, rectangular), but you will receive the modern aluminum frames shown in most current photos.

Our advanced printing technology creates incredibly realistic 3D-looking graphics from flat 2D logos. Many customers mistakenly think our photos show actual physical elements glued to the surface. While we do offer physical mounting as an option, please understand:

• Printed elements (included in base price): All logos, badges, flags, guidons, and graphics shown in most photos are high-quality prints that look remarkably three-dimensional.

Line 3 (Body Paragraph): One single paragraph, no line breaks, between 225–275 total characters including spaces and punctuation.
Why this matters: Keeping it concise maintains readable font size and preserves logos, insignia, flags, guidons, photos, or paintings in your design.

Optional Last Line(s): A brief unit motto or a short meaningful or humorous quote related to the recipient, only if space allows.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: If the inscription is much longer or does not follow this format, it may force very small, hard‑to‑read text, require shrinking or removing logos/insignia, or reduce the size of any flag, guidon, photo, or artwork on the plaque.

Please upload any imagery you want printed on your plaque via our order form. Provide as high quality, high resolution, original imagery and photos as possible.

Oil Painting Effect (FREE): We can transform your photo into a dramatic oil painting-style image at no extra charge. This works exceptionally well with:

• Action photos of vehicles, aircraft, or equipment
• Individual portraits
• Landscape or scenic shots

Note: Group portraits generally don't work well with the oil painting transformation. For group photos, we'll use a standard high-quality photo print instead.

What we can do: Enhance lighting for cinematic drama, adjust colors for artistic effect, and create a painterly texture that looks like a commissioned artwork.

Important: This service works with poor-quality photos, but the main subject must not be too tightly cropped or cut off. Provide the best original photo you have—we'll handle the artistic transformation.

For logos, try to provide graphical images instead of photos of signs, prints on paper, or photos of screens. Photos of physical signs or screens are almost impossible to process effectively.

***If you're sending a layout image, it's important to send the individual images of each logo as well. Most logos work fine, but if they are very low resolution, or the logos can't be found in a higher resolution format online (because they are very unique to a company or platoon) they may not be usable.

For your guidon or flag (if applicable) try to send a photo or graphic and tell me what the lettering should be.

The wood plaques with the black aluminum frames generally have a nice subtle map in the background (optional). Make sure to tell me what location/City/Post/Base you want that to show. The background maps work best if zoomed to a particular part of a city (instead of an entire state or country), so an address or post name works best for this.
